Too Cold
I love horses, I re
I love horses, I really do, and caring for them takes up a great deal of my life. However it isn't the only thing in my life, unlike my date. From the moment we showed up at the stable for the afternoon, he barely looked at me. He cooed over the horses, and stroked them, and brushed them, and talked to the stable hands. He talked to the horses too, just not me. Then he chose a mount, and without even asking if I wanted to go riding, he took off around the pasture.
He came back read more..

Dig Me out
When a guy named nick approached me through lavalife I was thinking, great this will sound like a running joke. But he seemed pretty genuine and funny so I thought why not. We made plans to go out for brunch Sunday morning.
Which was great until I woke up to 5 inches of snow and the plow having made a packed wall between my car and the plowed roadway a car length or two away. So I grabbed my teeny shovel and headed out to try and dig myself out. Once I got outside and realized it was freezing and read more..

Bubba Gumps
I just love living so near to New York city, because there is never a lack of things to do. My date and I had talked a lot before we met up, and had come to the conclusion that we both loved Bubba Gump's enough to spend an early evening there for food and beer. We only met up outside, and he was dressed nicely, but casually. He surprised me by eating like a pig-he seriously put away a lot of food for a little, skinny guy. We probably should have met somewhere else in retrospect, as there wasn't much read more..

A Shy One
I was introduced to itdude online, and we talked through MSN for a few weeks before deciding to meet somewhere neutral. As I am always looking for an opportunity to visit my favourite places to eat, so I suggested Max Brenner’s, which is a chocolate-themed cafe/restaurant, so even if the date turned out to be a dud I'd have good food for lunch. We had exchanged text messages the day before, and had swapped photos so that we’d recognise each other. He was late, so I’d ordered without him, as I only read more..

Symphony of Fun
After enduring tons of rather shoddy messages from guys, I finally got one that sounded interesting. Almost cultured instead of the boring fast food and mass media most Americans portray. It included a date made up of dinner then drinks at a local bar that actually had live music and dancing. Good music and good dancing, not the bump and grind stuff you see on TV. While I would have to dig out shoes worthy of dancing in it was a great sounding date.
We took a cab to the restaurant, with the idea read more..

Spaghetti In Between Teeth
I had this date just before my birthday and was really funny. Remy and I have been friends in the internet through MSN for a month already and its already been too long to be just friends in the internet. I asked her what is her favorite food and she said that it was spaghetti so we agreed on a date at an Italian Restaurant. We met at the restaurant just about the same time we arrived. While we were eating, I noticed spaghetti stuck in between her upper front teeth. I smiled and told her about that read more..

Almost Perfect
I met Jen through MSN and we have been chatting and sending emails for more than 2 weeks now. I finally ask her last Friday if we could see each other by Saturday. She agreed and we met yesterday in a restaurant near her home. We agreed that we will meet at 2. I came around 1:45 PM for I am really excited to meet her. She came at 2:30 but accompanied by 3 friends. She was really beautiful just like her pictures but I just can’t tell her some things for her friends are there. It was really nice date read more..

Puppy Love
Since I already had to go volunteer for the rescue society at the pet store alone I decided if my date wanted to prove he was an animal lover he could help me out. Rescues are always short handed and ours is no different. It always falls to me to sit the table since the pet store manager adores me. All he would have to do is take down names and help people fill out pre-screening applications.
He was already there when I showed up and carried all my stuff for me, which was a treat as I normally have read more..

Date on a Budget
I really appreciated that there was an agency specifically for students. Between a lack of time for dates, and a lack of money for dates, I would never have considered a none student dating agency.
Our chosen date location was the Seatlle Space needle. A bit more pricey than we would normally do for a weekend activity, but still we were aiming for special. It was a wonderful way to start getting to know him because the view inspired a good amount of conversation. We had plenty in common too, with read more..

Check his left hand!
So I went out with Ryan last weekend. It was great. Absolutely stunning date. He was gorgeous, funny, intelligent. Everything I was looking for. We met for lunch at a Linn Street Cafe for lunch, and we just had such a blast that we ended up going for a walk around campus and talking afterwards until it was dinnertime. Neither of us had plans and so we went and had pizza and beers at A & A, and I was just so smitten I invited him back to my place and the long short of it is he ended up staying read more..
